Wow! First day live and first member contribution! We are off to a great start!

A very special thank you to Tiffani Steele for sending in this amazing Excel spreadsheet that makes budgeting so very easy!

What I really love about this particular budgeting tool is that is designed to be used by real people because it takes into account the very real possibility of an emergency and the very real need to be a smart saver. Plus, it's so user-friendly, even a computer novice will be able to use it.

The first page is a calculator. Input your income and the program auto calculates how much you should put in savings as well as how much discretionary income you have after bills.

List all of your bills and their amounts on the second page. The program automatically puts the total in the correct section on page one.  

The third page is for you to determine your emergency fund – how much you need to have put away in case of a crisis.
